Animated GIF shows Sean Connery signing “murder” at the US Open

Sean Connery’s been a fixture at the US Open this week, accompanying Andy Murray’s mother Judy as she watched her son go all the way to his first major.

At first glance, this animated GIF from the final last night shows the James Bond star gesturing in support of his compatriot. But then those of us who know sign language look again… and wonder whether something a little more sinister is at play…
