Watch: Sign Bilingualism is a human right

Here’s an Australian video featuring a lot of deaf people who are bi, and proud of it.

Bilingual, that is. What did you think we meant?

Nearly all Deaf people are bilingual to some degree, mixing between signed and spoken languages depending on the situation at hand. (sorry, bad pun)

The video also has some interesting (and important) information about the United Nation Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities that we should all be aware of.
