Northern Ireland politician says deaf students are being failed by government
the number of deaf students attending university in Northern Ireland has decreased by over 50% in the last five years.

Deaf patient in Scottish hospital left without interpreter for 12 days
the woman repeatedly pointed at a poster on the wall about interpreters, and gave staff a card for a BSL interpreter twice. However, no interpreter was provided.

BioAid, has given deaf people the ability to turn their iPhones into a hearing aid, using nothing more than the phone’s microphone and a set of headphones.
