Sam wins Big Brother: First deaf winner tops popular vote

Posted on August 19, 2013 by

Huge congratulations to Sam Evans from Wales who has won the fourteenth series of Big Brother tonight. Sam, who wears hearing aids, beat Dexter in the live final on Channel 5 and is the first deaf winner of the show. And he wins £100,000

We followed Sam all the way with regular updates from our BB correspondent Michelle Hedley. She will have a full update tomorrow morning with her view on the series and Sam’s success.

Update Sam quotes from his winners interview:

“Maybe I am willing to stick up for myself, even when I’m wrong.”

“I’m going to to give 25% charity, 25% to my mother and 50% down for the future.”

“i quite often missed the point – I didn’t always know what was going on, but with the Dexter thing (his enemy in the show), I always knew what was going on”

From all of us at The Limping Chicken .. Well done Sam Evans!
