Posted on January 27, 2014 by

A deaf man has been beaten up for using sign language in a Bristol nightclub.

Harry Gibson was on a night out to celebrate his sister’s birthday. At around 2.30am, he was apparently asked for directions by two men, and when he replied in sign language, they attacked him.

Gibson’s sister is Big Brother winner Josie Gibson, and she sent out a tweet that night showing Harry covered in blood, expressing her anger at what had happened.

She also said:

The incident allegedly happened at the Dojo Lounge nightclub in Park Row, and the incident is now being investigated by the police.
