Two men from Essex have been jailed for 22 months and nine months respectively following a horrific incident where they pushed a Deaf man who is also registered blind onto train tracks at Chelmsford station.

The video of the CCTV footage has been released, and shows the 31 year old Deaf man being pushed off the platform then punched as he tries to get back off the tracks. His brother then tried to help but was also attacked and pushed onto the tracks.

The brothers have been praised by the police for the dignity they’ve shown following the incident.

Below is the video which has been released by the police. Please be advised that it contains footage which is not suitable for children and features violent scenes.
