Go See: Steakhouse Live festival of Live Art and performance

Join Steakhouse Live for their most ambitious festival yet presenting 30 artists for three days of rowdy, sensual and provocative performances.

The festival will take place from October 14-16 across three East London locations – Rich Mix, The Yard and Artsadmin.

Steakhouse Live is one of the few DIY platforms for radical performance practices. It’s rough. It’s raw. Unpredictability is embraced. Work cuts across performance art, theatre, visual art, cabaret, sculpture, dance, drag and participatory performance.

Glass will be shattered, skin will be tattooed, clothes will be set alight, paint will be thrown, hair will be singed and bums will shake.

The Saturday of the festival all performances will be BSL interpreted.

Friday performances have minimal or no text spoken at all.

A majority of the work on the Sunday is visual and sculptural perfomance involving little or not text spoken at all.
