In this video from the Independent, posted on Facebook, we see the story of a Deaf Syrian father, who has started learning BSL in Britain after leaving Syria with his family.

In Syria, Ahmad taught sign language to Deaf children. In the video, he explains how hard it was coming to a new country, and the importance of learning a new sign language.
