Opportunity: Could you act in a feature film? Apply for Ted Evans’ ‘Retreat’ now

Escape Films and 104 Films are now casting for the upcoming feature film RETREAT, which is backed by the BFI, BBC FILMS and CREATIVE ENGLAND under the low-budget feature film initiative.

Written and directed by Ted Evans, RETREAT is the first British Sign Language feature of it’s kind – with an ensemble cast of deaf actors. The story is mostly set in a deaf commune, where everyone communicates in sign language.

Ted and his producers are focusing their search on the two main characters in the story and welcome self-tapes from both professional and non-professional actors (non-actors). To see the character breakdowns and all you need to know about applying, check the PDF link below:
