Big Brother Update: Sam bookies favourite – keep him in tonight

Day 61   12/8

In the midst of the housemates discussing the latest twist, Sam is given a task by Big Brother.  He is given the opportunity to show off his comedy skills by staging his very own stand up comedy night.  But as usual there is a twist, and in order to win a reward for the house he has to be as unfunny as possible and not make the housemates laugh at his jokes.  Sam responded that he would just use his usual jokes then!

Later it was time for Sam’s LOL-Fest!  His first joke was I am in the Big Brother House, but I feel like a seal.  I am having a whale of a time!  His numerous jokes received a mixed response, but generally they laughed even when they shouldn’t.  As a result, in the diary room Sam failed his task as he made the housemates LOL in the aisles.  He responded by raising a (literal) toast to big brother!

As mentioned yesterday the housemates had to nominate face to face live in the show which confused them as they had expected to all be up for the final week.

Day 62 13/8

During a break in the Shopping task, housemates are greeted with tweets that have been sent to Big Brother by members of the public about them.  Sam was shown tweets – the first being “Sam is my favourite, because he is sweet and is funny he deserves to win – plus he has been a great inspiration to many people including me”.  Sam was very touched by that comment.  His second tweet was “I love Sam because he makes my winky expand!!” – this relates to a comment he made on the very first day and clearly he was very embarrassed that the public remembers that!!
