Posted on October 5, 2016

SignLive, an Edinburgh based and Deaf-owned British Sign Language Online Interpreting Serivce (who have just become one of this site’s supporters), has just been awarded several ISO accreditations, which reflect their quality management standards.

They have been awarded ISO9001:2015 Quality Management, ISO27001:2013 Information Security Standard and ISO14001:2015 Environmental Management, representing a significant step forward for the company.

ISO9001 certification is based on quality management principles, including strong customer focus and continual improvement and reviews.

Joel Kellhofer, Managing Director said:

“This is another great step in the growth of this young company, which is only in its second year of trading. It means that quality is not just a concept but is a reality. We strive to give our customers a professional, tailor-made solution that meets their needs, especially within the Deaf commuinity”.
