This video, in which Utah Valley University’s Flavia Fleischer (who teaches ASL and Deaf Studies) explains “What is Deaf culture?: has gone viral on Facebook.
She starts by looking at what culture means, then moves into what sign language gives Deaf people. It’s thought-provoking and well worth a watch.
