Watch: Deaf singer’s appearance on America’s Got Talent, which has 95 million views

A video showing a Deaf woman called Mandy Harvey appearing on America’s Got Talent has gone viral, getting an incredible 95 million views.

Harvey appeared on the show with her sign language interpreter, going on to explain how she had lost her hearing at the age of 18, due to connective tissue disorder.

Using muscle memory and visual tuning, as well as “trusting her pitch,” she learned to sing again, feeling the beat of the music via vibrations on the stage floor. Her song ‘Try’ was a hit with the panel. Watch it below to see just how much of a hit…
