Join London’s Borough Market on Sunday 22nd April for a family-friendly day filled with food, music, storytelling and theatre, celebrating the influence Saint George has had around the world.

As part of the event, Borough regular Luke Mackay will be at the Demo Kitchen, along with Dom from trader Northfield Farm, for free cooking demonstrations highlighting meat and butchery.

The demo from 12-1.30pm will be BSL signed by Danielle Holden (RSLI). Don’t miss it!

The overall event takes place from 12-4pm on Sunday 22nd April to celebrate Saint George in all his incarnations.

Here you will get the opportunity to sample unique St George’s day products from our regular traders, as well as marvel at the things on offer from some of our special guests too.

This includes a performance of George and the Dragon from local theatre group the Lion’s Part, a dance around the maypole as you may never have seen it before from Folk Dance Remixed and the construction of a human tower from the Castellers of London.

Not only that, but we’ll also be joined by the National Farmer’s Union who’ll be bringing their interactive Discovery Barn along, where children can explore a series of games including; The Minute Milk Challenge featuring much loved ‘Annabelle’ the dairy cow, and a interactive Farm Tour Tractor Experience.

Whether he’s your patron saint or not, the multicultural sounds, smells and tastes of St George’s Day are not to be missed!
