ITV is set to mark Deaf Awareness Week with an all-signed advertising break during tonight’s episodes of Coronation Street.
The signed break will feature adverts from major brands including Microsoft, Gaviscon, Nurofen, Matalan, Velux, WeBuyAnyCar and Money Supermarket.
An Aldi advert starring Maisie Sly, star of Oscar-winning The Silent Child, has already been screened, watch it below:

Shame they didn’t bother adding subtitles for the thousands of deafies like me who don’t sign…
Typical ITV – they are nowhere near as aware as BBC.
