Video: What happens when a hearing couple sample the ‘Deaf Cinema Experience’

A sketch satirising the experiences of deaf people at the cinema has been released as a stand alone clip on Facebook, and can be watched below.

The sketch shows a hearing couple deciding they want to go through the ‘Deaf Cinema Experience’ – but they’re in for a surprise!

The sketch is part of Deaf Funny episode 6, which can been on the BSL Zone site here. It was written and directed by Charlie Swinbourne (also this site’s editor!) and stars Gemma Arrowsmith, Ben Green, Donna Mullings, Erin Hutching, Adam Bassett, Matt Kirby and Will Lewis.
