SignHealth releases information in BSL about coronavirus

You can now watch information in BSL about coronavirus thanks to Deaf health charity SignHealth.

The page includes videos explaining what coronavirus is, what the symptoms are, and how to increase your chances of avoiding it.

If you think you might have coronavirus, you can contact the NHS through video relay in BSL or by using an app. You should not go to a GP, pharmacy or hospital.

The charity says:

Contact NHS 111 services if:

  • you are worried you have coronavirus
  • you have travelled within the last 14 days
  • OR may have come in contact with someone who has coronavirus.

Call NHS 111 in BSL by visiting interpreternow.co.uk/nhs111 or use their app on your mobile device. Or use the NHS 111 online service at 111.nhs.uk/covid-19. Do not go to a GP surgery, pharmacy or hospital.
