ITV to screen John Bishop documentary exploring deaf culture PLUS deaf comedy show TONIGHT

ITV programmes featuring deafness are a bit like buses. You wait an age for one, then two come along at once.

That’s certainly the case tonight, with the screening of a documentary following comedian John Bishop’s exploration of deaf culture with his deafened son Joe, then later the screening of a deaf comedy show featuring deaf comedians Gavin Lilley, Ray Bradshaw, Ace Mahbaz, Leah Francisco and John Smith.

Here are the timings:

ITV1, 9pm: John and Joe Bishop: Life After Deaf
ITV1 10.50pm: Life After Deaf Stand Up Comedy Show
