The Deaf community is today paying its respects to TikToker Imogen ‘Deaf Immy’ Nunn, after it was announced the content creator has died at the age of 25.

Immy, who attracted more than 723,000 followers on TikTok and 15,000 followers on Instagram, garnered a huge fanbase with her humorous and supportive videos about Deaf awareness and mental health.

Remembering her “beautiful” Immy, mother Louise Nunn wrote on social media: “The strongest, bravest, kindest most caring person you could ever wish to meet is now an angel above as she was whilst on this earth.

“This is the most painful thing I’ve ever had to write but I know Immy Nunn or Deaf Immy was loved by many.”

In a post on Instagram, her loving partner Becky added: “I am so deeply saddened you are in pain and I can’t take that away from you. I am so so so proud of how you’ve been fighting and I only hope you are now in peace.

“I am so glad I have met you in my life. You made me fall in love again and you made me so happy. You are the most beautiful, strong, caring, loving person I had ever met.

“We’ll meet again. This is not goodbye. See you soon babe.”
