It’s been announced that on 2nd May, LumoTV (previously BSL Zone) will officially launch its newly revamped YouTube channel, expanding access to its films and programmes beyond the website and onto one of the world’s most popular platforms.

Some of LumoTV’s most popular programmes include The End, Sign2Win, Small World, Getting Personal and The Chris Baker Show, and many of their programmes have won awards in the UK and international stage.

This move is part of LumoTV’s ongoing commitment to making content even more accessible and convenient for online viewers across all devices. With YouTube being so easily accessible via smart TVs, phones, tablets, and computers, deaf and hearing audiences can now enjoy LumoTV’s shows whether they are commuting, relaxing at home, or on the go.

LumoTV’s updated channel will feature full-length programmes, as well as shorts, within curated playlists designed to help users explore content with ease.

Ashley Kendall, Head of Communications and Distribution says: “Launching our YouTube channel has been such an exciting project for the whole team. It’s a big step in expanding our audience and giving them the flexibility to watch LumoTV content on their smart TV, on-demand, and for free! In our 17 years of existence, that’s never been possible before.”

The new channel will be available from 2nd May. Simply search @watchLumoTV on YouTube to find it.
