Charlie Swinbourne: We need your photo outside your local Deaf club! (BSL)

Posted on April 17, 2018 by

The team behind the BSL Zone’s new documentary, Found at the Deaf Club, which is directed by this site’s editor Charlie Swinbourne, is looking for photos of Deaf people outside their local Deaf clubs, to be shown during the final credits of the programme.

Watch this signed by Charlie with subtitles below (click here to view it on Facebook)

They want to show Deaf people across the country smiling and waving in front of their local Deaf centres!  The photos can be taken on smartphones, and can be selfies, or group photos.

So, why not take a photo outside your Deaf club and send it in?  Everybody in the photo must give permission for it to be used on TV and on our website (please confirm this when you send it in), and if anyone in the photo is under 18, their parent or guardian will need to give permission.

All you need to do is take the photo and email it to charlie@eyewitnessmedia.co.uk, saying who is in the photo and which Deaf club you are in front of.

Please send your photos by Thursday 19th April.
