Is your family hoping for an accessible festive season? Here’s our list of fun, inclusive events taking place this December! (BSL)

It’s December — the season of advent calendars, “Elf on the Shelf” cheekiness and the mad scramble to book Santa visits before Christmas.

For many families, a trip to see Santa or to watch a festive show becomes a beloved part of the countdown. But what about families whose first language is British Sign Language (BSL)?

This year, across the UK, it seems that more organisations are stepping up — offering BSL-friendly Santas, interpreters and even Santa Letters in sign language — to ensure that no child is excluded from festive joy.

So without further ado, read on to see my list of recommended accessible experiences – and if you would like to add one, feel free to pop it in the comments!
